Have you ever asked yourself: What hidden talents do I have? What prejudices do I have towards others? Does life depend more on community, (self-)acceptance and solidarity than on status and money? And shouldn’t we allow ourselves to be surprised from time to time?
Many questions – one answer: Tabula Rasa! Now is the time to come clean!
Life must be worthwhile! There must be no mistakes! We must be quick to judge and quick to act.
No more of this! Let’s show what we don’t have and get to know ourselves anew. Let’s open ourselves up to life in all its diversity. Let’s dare to be our true and best possible selves!
The dancers with trisomy 21 from the “Ich bin O.K.” association in Vienna are also following this resolution in the inclusive dance project “Tabula Rasa”. Together with dancers from the Landesbühnen Sachsen, they share their hidden passion and use their individual dance styles to create a theatrical experience that shows what is possible when we show ourselves as we really are.
